Ron's Birthday In China

This is Ron's last trip to China before his retirement!  The 4th was his birthday and his coworkers went all out in celebrating it with him.

 This is what he found on his desk.  Surprise!  Everyone was so nice and he had more than one birthday cake to enjoy during the day.

 That night he took his employees out to dinner and was again surprised at the restaurant.  What was supposed to be a thank you dinner for the guys turned into another birthday party......this cake was amazing!

Ron gave one of the guys a lovely plate from Amish country as a thank you for work well done.

Cabin Floor

When Ron was home this last trip and the morning after we got back from California we laid bamboo floors in the cabin.  It took two days to finish the tile in the entry and get the bamboo down.  It looks so great.

Now we just have the molding to finish up and a few little touches (like curtains) to be completely done!  Head over to the craft blog to see more pictures!
