California

I have finally found a minute to download the pics of Mark's boys we took on our recent visit to California.  It was a crazy time.  Loading all their possessions into a moving van, waiting for the house to close so we could get the key and finally moving into the new house.  Once all our nerves recovered, it was time for the boys to become acquainted with their new home and just have a little play time.
Here is Ronan in his superhero cape.  Notice the GQ pose.
Archer and Grandpa in the TV room relaxing.
Odin in his new room.
Ronan again.
It is great to have a grandpa who helps a superhero get ready.
Odin checking out his toy box finds.
Time to go shopping for a few things!  Doesn't Archer look excited?  We had such a great time visiting Mark and his kids that we can't wait to go back soon.

Wind and Snow

This is what I woke up to this morning in Ohio after a stormy night of high winds and rain/snow.  So pretty and we sure got off easy when you consider what the rest of the east coast went through.
No loss of power and no flooding.  Just a drop in temperatures that had me running to the thermostat........and a cup of hot chocolate

Hebron Car Show

Well, The Blue Pony went to it's first car show......It was at the Hebron Arts and Music Festival.  We didn't know how we would do because wet went up against some beautiful cars.
We passed the time until the judging was complete by shopping at the festival and eating.
Eli
Abby got inside for a picture op.
She was in her soccer uniform because she had been in the parade.
And look here.....we actually won!  Couldn't believe it!
Tomorrow we hope to go to First Friday and show off again.

Cousin Camp

This year's cousin's camp was very eventful.
It started at the airport.  Abby, Eli, Jenn and Chuck joined me to welcome Phoebe, Chloe and Ron at the airport.

Cindy had dressed them in bright colors so they wouldn't get lost.

After leaving the airport, we went to the State Fair.

Abby's friend Bailey entered her cat in the 4H section.
Corn dogs!

Butter cow sculptures.

Scary rides.

Animal exhibits.

And goofing off.

Apple dumplings rounded off the days treats.

The next day we took the twins to the Farmer's Market to get treats for great grandma, great grandpa and great-great grandma.

Bees are so interesting.

More goodies.

After the market we went to the County Fair.  More goodies to eat.
Alpacas and llamas.

And huge horses.

A visit to the museum's cabin.

And more food.

Which ride should we pick.

Check out the mirror image.....

Once Abby and Eli joined back up with us we went to the airport for a couple of rides in the plane.

Then a visit to Roscoe Village and the Erie Canal Boat rides.

While waiting to get on the boat, we dug into the fudge we had bought at the General Store.

This is where the photography stops.  The next big trip was to the cabin where they played in the creek, ate more goodies and I fell and blew out my knee.  Thank goodness we had already visited Amish Country, gone to the wild animal park, had a scavenger hunt, and most of the activities we had looked so forward to.  Jenn came and helped the last day which was great.  We made candy, painted birdhouses and made parachute rope bracelets.  When they had all packed up and headed home, we were exhausted but happy to have created these memories for the older cousins that will have to hold them until the next cousin camp!
